When I told my daughter about a project I did when I was teaching preschool where we brought the Eric Carle book ” The Very Hungry Caterpillar” to life, there was no doubt she wanted this as a theme for her birthday. It seemed fitting for a 3 year-old birthday party since she has really transformed from a toddler into a little girl. SO, many, many, many hours of work later it was done and it was all worth it.
